An overview of the

Bar-type flowmeter is a new type of plug-in flow measuring instrument designed and produced by using the working principle of differential pressure. It is composed of an integrated bar-type sensor, differential pressure transmitter and integrator, etc. The flow measuring system can also be networked with the control system or computer for fluid flow measurement and control. The latest research results of Walibar flow sensor are reflected centrally by bar-type sensors. The shape of the sensor is like a bullet, in line with the principle of fluid dynamics, can produce accurate and stable differential pressure signal, high strength, no leakage, anti-blocking. It has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, reliability and stability. Can measure gas, liquid, steam and corrosive media and other fluids, suitable for various sizes of pipe, used in high temperature and high pressure occasions.

 

Performance and Features

1, the non-recoverable pressure loss of the bar-type flow sensor is very small, generally about 2% of the output differential pressure. Therefore, the operating cost caused by pressure loss is tens of one of the orifice plate.

2, the flow sensor is widely used, can measure single-phase fluid (including liquid, gas and steam, etc.) flow. Diameters can range from 25mm to several meters. The larger the pipe diameter, the more prominent its advantages. 3. The flow coefficient of the bar-type flow sensor has good long-term stability. According to a large number of our experimental data, the basic error of the large caliber bar-type flow sensor can reach 1.5% on the industrial pipeline, and the small and medium-sized caliber bar-type flow sensor can reach 1%. Its long-term stability can reach 0.5%.

4, simple structure, light weight. General barb sensor only a dozen parts, a barb flow sensor for Dg1000mm pipeline, weight is only a few kilograms.

5, easy to install, the bar-type flow sensor is similar to the thermocouple insertion type flow meter, installation is very convenient, compared with the commonly used orifge-plate flowmeter in the nominal diameter Dg500 pipe installation of a power bar only 1.5-2 manual time. It takes about 12 manual hours to install the hole plate. If the pipe diameter is larger, it saves more time and less labor intensity.

Principle of measurement

Barb flowmeter is a kind of insert flow measuring instrument. A Vibara sensor is inserted into the pipe. As the fluid flows through the sensor, a high pressure distribution is generated in the front (in the direction of the incoming flow) and a low pressure distribution is generated in the rear. There are several pairs (generally three pairs) of pressure holes arranged according to certain rules in the high and low pressure areas of the sensor, and they are measured respectively
